This week has been productive with reports of good fishing everywhere. Outside the fluke fishing is much better with big fish being hauled in at up to 80 ft. of water. Lee Stocker brought in a 10 lb. flatty that he caught in 82 ft. of water. The tuna fishing is still real productive out at the canyons, with bigger blue fins hitting the scales. Brian Griek, a regular at the shop, brought in a 30 lb. tuna this week, but some fish in the 150 lb. range have been reported. So you might want to hit the tire wreck or down off the Coast guard station for some last minute fluke heroics.
